Preparing the coming VST version of Vandal here currently (and perhaps Mac AU if we got resources), we’d like to gather more feedback and information from potential users on what they expect from a good amp-simulation product.

Don’t hesitate. Even if luck isn’t on your side, there’s at least the chance to apply for beta testing through the survey, so that we perhaps get back to you sooner than you think 
Will your Samplitude version have updates periodically ? Or it will remain the same ?
Once the VST is out, it won’t matter whether you run this version or the one integrated into Samplitude, from a future-proof point of view. Both inherit from the same code base. Any update happens right there, so both branches will profit from any changes. Although I can imagine release dates to differ slightly, because usually a Samplitude update gets released as a whole where more stuff is gathered over time. But in the past, this had been done frequently (several times a year), and I don’t see that changing.

when is it coming out ??
Can’t say precisely as yet, but we aim for anything from ‘in a couple of weeks’ to ‘before Christmas’. There are factors other than development involved, so take that with a grain of salt. We’ll make an ‘official’ anouncement as soon as all dates in the chain are finally nailed.
